Dow's Freeport Operations is the largest integrated chemical manufacturing complex in the Western Hemisphere. Spanning over 5,000 acres along the Brazos River, the site produces a vast range of chemicals including ethylene, polyethylene, chlorine, and specialty materials used in industries worldwide.

BASF operates a major production facility in Freeport producing superabsorbents, acrylic acid, and other specialty chemicals. The Freeport site benefits from its proximity to Dow's infrastructure and the Port of Freeport.

The Port of Freeport is one of the fastest-growing ports in the United States, ranking among the top U.S. ports by total tonnage. It serves as a critical export hub for petrochemicals, plastics, and agricultural products.

Fluor is one of the world's largest engineering, procurement, and construction companies, regularly employing hundreds to thousands of contractors and engineers on capital projects at Dow, BASF, and other Freeport facilities.

Phillips 66 operates refining and chemical assets in the greater Freeport/Sweeny area, including the Sweeny Refinery — one of the most complex refineries in the U.S. The facility processes crude oil into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and petrochemical feedstocks.

Freeport LNG is one of the largest LNG export terminals in the United States, located on Quintana Island near Freeport. The facility liquefies natural gas for export to global markets, with a capacity of approximately 15 million tonnes per year.
